Description

Our expertise enables us to offer Reactive dyes or Fibre reactive dyes that are highly coloured organic substances. These compounds contain chromophore that helps in direct reaction with a fibre substrate. The reactive dyes form covalent bonds with the substrates that are responsible for attaching the reactive dye to natural fibers. Owing to these bonds, these dyes become permanent dyes. Some other forms of reactive dyes are Cold reactive dyes, like Cibacron F, Procion MX, and Drimarene K. The range finds usage in dyeing cotton and other cellulose fibers. These are primarily used for tinting textiles. Some advantageous features of our range are:

Permanency of the colour	Formation of covalent bond with the Substrate (cellulose or protein molecule) The one molecule formed after bonding becomes a part of the cellulose fiber molecule

The three common types of dyes are:

Vinylsulphone Dye (VS)	Moderately active Dyeing temperature is generally 600C and pH is 11.5 Applied with a mixture of soda ash and caustic soda Demonstrate excellent fixation properties under proper alkaline condition Example: Remazol Black B (CI Reactive Black 5)
Monochlorotriazine Dye (MCT)	Less reactive than vinylsulphone dyes Reactions take place in more energetic reaction conditions 800C and pH value of 10.5
Bi-functional Dye	Has more than one type of reactive group in the molecule Has capacity to react with the fibre in more than a single way
