Description
Treatment of metastatic bone disease, to reduce the risk of skeletal complications of malignant disease eg hypercalcemia, pain, the need for radiotherapy against painful bone lesions & impending fractures & decrease the risk for fractures.
The tablet should be taken after an overnight fast and before the first food or drink of the day. Medications and supplements (including calcium) should similarly be avoided prior to taking the tablets. Fasting should be continued for at least 30 min after taking the tablet. Plain water may be taken at any time during the course of treatment.
